The Historic “Y” Originally modelled after the YMCA in London England, the Historic “Y” building was originally constructed in 1908 as the only marble YMCA building in the United States. It served as the home to the Columbus YMCA for over 100 years until they moved to a new location three blocks north in 2010. In 2019, local developer W.C. Bradley Real Estate acquired the property to preserve and revitalize its historic charm. Today, the property has been re-born as a Class A office building with its original marble, brick accents, and historic atrium but with all the technology and requirements of a modern office building.
